Instructions for presentations
Oral presentations
Oral presentations are scheduled every 20 minutes. It is therefore advisable to give the presentation in 15 minutes to allow five minutes of questions and comments. A LDC projector and a PC (Windows 7, Office 2007) will be available in the session room where authors are invited to upload and check their presentation well in advance, in order to avoid last minute problems. Authors may also use their own laptop computers for their presentation, but only VGA connection to the LCD projector will be available. If your laptop computer uses a different connection you must come equipped with the appropriate adapter. Authors are also invited to reach the room session 5 minutes before the beginning and to introduce themselves to the chairperson. |
Flash-oral poster presentations
The Flash-oral presentations are scheduled every five minutes. The idea is to use two to four slides to present the most remarkable results and conclusions leaving time for one or two short questions. The spirit of these presentations is to create curiosity or interest in the audience to encourage further discussion during the poster sessions where details can be explained and there will be open discourse. Posters
The size of the panels available for posters is 1000 x 1400 mm. It is suggested to prepare the posters in standard DIN A0 (841 x 1189 mm) format. The posters will be exhibited on the 22nd and 23rd of June. The space used for the poster session will also be for coffee breaks and Wednesday's “Poster and Pintxos Dinner”. |
